Churches in Epperstone Parish

Holy Cross, Epperstone

Main Street Epperstone Nottingham
0115 966 5118

Set within the beautiful Nottinghamshire countryside, The Church of the Holy Cross is the parish church of the village of Epperstone. It forms part of the Four Church Benefice with three other churches in the neighbouring parishes of Oxton, Gonalston and Woodborough. Each parish has their own distinct identity, but come together collectively in all aspects of the Christian faith.

We strive to guide and support people in their Christian life, helping them to understand the Bible and Jesus' teachings in a way that is relevant to them.

If you're thinking of visiting one of our churches for the first time, then we are really honoured and want you to feel valued.

If you're joining us from another church, or you're 'doing the tour' and seeing what Christian worship has to offer, then we are also excited that you'll be sharing some time with us.

Jesus was very clear that this invitation was for all, so we want to make sure you feel that you are walking into a place where you can come with anticipation, and leave feeling like you have met with God during the service.

We follow a regular service pattern except during Summer holidays and on special times during the Christian year.

Service patterns have been changed during this time of Covid-19.  See the 'Services and Events' panel for details.

Former Greene King two-roomed pub. Chesterfield sofas and an open fire make this a homely setting. Good food, as you would expect, as the landlord is a former chef to the Queen! Three hand pumps always include a local beer.
